With decades of experience piloting helicopters, it was natural that in 1999, Jeff Gebhard and Brian Kitaoka, would come together to form Genesis Aviation, Inc.

In 2004, Genesis Aviation teamed up with KHNL-TV to provide Hawaii’s NBC affiliate and its audience with news from Chopper 8, the only news helicopter in the state of Hawaii

Our Tours

Genesis Aviation launched its Helicopter Tour Division in January 2005. The popular tours offer Oahu’s visitors (and residents) safe, yet spectacular helicopter tour packages ranging from the economical, easy 40-minute tour for first-timers to the extreme 65-minute, circle island tour for those who want to see it all!

Our Aircraft

Genesis Aviation flies Bell Helicopters exclusively. American-owned Bell Helicopters employs the largest workforce of American workers in the helicopter industry. Additionally, Bell is the largest and most respected manufacturer of helicopters in the U.S.A. The helicopter that Genesis Aviation flies is a Bell 206B JetRanger. This four-passenger aircraft is turbine powered, and has exceptional viewing capacity for all passengers.
